MR.SOURAV CHANDIDAS GANGULY

One of The Indian Test Match Captains.

He is most successful Captain of all time. He played 49 Test Matches as captain and won 21 matches.13 matches last and 15 matches no result.

Mr.Rahul Dravid and himself made 318 runs partnership world record in Cricket World cup 1999.This record is still on in World Cup Tournament History. He won so many Man of the Match in the series against Sri Lanka, Pakistan &Australia. He become one of The Indian Captain in 2000.He took the India to final in the 2003 World Cup and last to Australia. He also played 2007 World Cup.

He was born on 8 July 1972 in Calcutta, West Bengal, India. He is right hand medium bowler and Left hand Batsman.

He become Captain for KKR (Kolkatta Knight Rider) for Indian Premier League Twenty 20 cricket Tournament in 2008.He become Chairman of Cricket Association of Bengal’s cricket development committee after retired from cricket.

He is second Indian to cross 10000 runs mark in One Day International. He is in the 5 th highest position to cross 10000 runs mark in ODI.

He is sixth greatest batsman of all time in ODI ranked by WISDEN.

He got Padma Shri Award in 2004.
