Mr.Bishan Singh Bedi,( Test Match Captain)

He was born on 25 Sept 1946 in Amritsar Punjab.He was right hand batsman & slow left arm spinner. He was one of the Indian Test Match Captains in 1976 after Mr.Pataudi Jr.He was captained India for 22 Test matches won 6, lost 11 no result 5.He played cricket from 1966 to 1979.He was the best bowler rather than batting.

The followings are the details of several successful test matches.

India Vs Australia in 1969 to 70 ,21 Wickets at 20.57

India Vs England in 1972 to 73, 25 Wickets at 25.28.

India Vs West Indies at West Indies 18 wickets at 25.33.

India Vs New Zealand in 1976 to 77 ,22 wickets at 13.18.

India Vs England in 1976 to 77, 25 wickets at 22.96.

India Vs Australia in 1977 to 78 , 31 wickets at 23.87.

In Test Match 7/98 was the best bowling for him & ODI 2/44 was the best & First class cricket 7/5 was the best for his carrier.

He was the first person appointed as full time coach for Indian Team in 1990.
