One of The IndianTest Match Captains Mr.Sunil Gavaskar

Mr.Sunil Gavaskar.

One of Indian Test Match Captains.

He was The Indian Test Match Captains in 1975.He was awarded Padma Bhusan award by Indian Govt.He was Shriff of Mumbai in Dec 1994 for one year.

He was the captain for 47 Test matches .He won 9 Test matches lost 8 matches no result for 30 matches.He was in cricket team from 1970 to 1987.

He was born on 10 July 1949 in Mumbai Maharashtra.He is right hand batsman and right arm medium bowler.He was the greatest opening batsman during his period.

He was the first Indian cricketer made world record of Highest century 34 and highest score of 10122 runs in Test match.

This was the record for more than 20 years to break by one of the other Indian Test match Captain Mr.Sachin Tendulkar in Dec.2005.
