One of The Indian Test Match Captains.

His Full name is Gudappa Rangnath Viswanath and was born on 12 Feb 1949 in Bhadravati ,Karnataka,India.He was in the test match from 1969 to 83.He was a good batsman rather than a bowler. Occasionally bowled.He made 14 century and 35 fifties in his test carrier. He was one of The Indian Captains in 1979 /80.and led 2 matches 1 was lost with England another one was no result with Pakistan. He retired in 1983 from cricket .He became match referee for ICC from 1999 to 2004.He was a manager for Indian cricket team and Chairman of selection committee. He married Mr.Sunil Gavaskar’ sister named Kavita.He got lifetime achievement award in 2009 by BCCI highest award in the name of Col.C.K.NAIDU  the First Test Match Indian Captain.
